Welcome to the Centre for Lifelong Learning
Our aim is to make university study accessible for young people or adults, locally, regionally or internationally.
Working within the community we promote educational opportunities, specifically targeting people, who for various reasons may have been marginalized from the university sector.
Our lifelong learning strategy targets three key groups:
- People who are still in school, but lack confidence in progressing to post-16 study
- Adults who left school early and want a second chance
- Community based learners associated with older age groups, some of whom have special learning needs
